that really sucks. I had a similar hand last week at my home tourny.
I had the big stack and JJ. A couple people limp, I raise, and 2 others call me. Flop comes J Q 5 rainbow
The guy with the short stack goes all in. I go all in trying to get the 3rd guy to fold (he had about 660 chips to my 740 and didnt really want to battle with him)
Well he calls anyways, flips over KQ for a pair of queens, to my set of Jacks.
Turn comes a Queen. No problem, I still have a boat to his set, a Q or K can still beat me though.
River comes a QUEEN. Two runners and his quads beat my boat!!!!

Long time ago, but still bitter. Me big slick, 2 callers to my good size raise preflop in a NL SNG.
Flop Q J 10 rainbow, great, I have the nuts. 1st player all in, 2nd player quickly goes all in, I am the med stack, figure we may have a 2 way split pot. I call, player 1: QQ player 2: 10 10. Both had sets, I am going to nearly triple up. Turn 6, river 6.
I know they had more outs after flopping a set than in your cases, but it still smarts!

yea that exact same thing happened to me in a SNG. i pick up pocket 6's. well i raised pre flop and he moved in, i think for a bit and go "well i could take him out." so i took a chance and called. he flips over 10,9. so i was like 50/50. the flop comes out 6,10, X. so i was like, i got him. well the turn came a 10 and the river came a 10. i was like aaaaaahh!!! but oh well i won anyways.

I was playing a home game yesterday and I get Pocket Aces in heads up. We are about even ($130 total in chips and i have about $60) but my opponnent has a couple bucks more than me. she raises 2X BB, I go over the top all in. She thinks for a while then calls. She has pocket nines. Flop comes 2,A,7. Im now sure this is mine. But nope. Turn 9, river 9. I couldnt believe it. My trip Aces gets beat by 4 nine's on the turn and river. The best part was a few hands before, she raised and I went over the top all in with 7,2o and got her to fold. So she probably figured i had nothing again.
