Just wondering if anybody has played on PKR poker, and if you have what do you think about it.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I've downloaded the software to take a look at it, but haven't deposited. the software runs really slowly on my laptop, and quite often doesn't load up

I was in the beta tests of it. Tried it out and said I'd give them a review. Never gave the review because there wasn't much positive I could say for it. At that time, it ran very poorly on both my laptop and tower. Again, that was back in the beta period, so I'm sure it must run better than it had then but I haven't gone back to see.

Thanks for the answers, i've downloaded it as well, but i noticed the same things that were stated, i only play the free-rolls because of the small number of people (mostly fishes) allow me to pick up some pocket change to start building a bankroll.

I know someone who plays there for real money and he really enjoys it. Says he likes it more than Stars and other places because of it's real-life like graphics and atmosphere.
Personally I don't like it. I find it far too busy and just simply too hard to concentrate on the actual poker-playing as opposed to the flashy look.
