Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

what pokerroom was that even?

oy this is the kind of thing that stirs up a lot of paranoia. lol
Where was that even? Can we be certain this wasn't even private lan/wan aps where friends play together through a host local to one of the players? In that event, the computer hosting the party will have this data available to it. So interesting that dudes doing this to promote sales of a product...
But anyways, lets look at all the current major poker rooms. I'm leaving the crash and burn operations out of it, because there's no telling how poorly they may have been developed. For this to even be possible, the servers would need send all hole card data to all players at the table. Think about the ramifications such a poorly developed ap would be... bankrupt overnight, every transaction ever made with entity disputed and ultimately reversed based solely on the lack of security. There's no way for the developers to accidentally let this data slip out: the flaw would be so damn obvious that to allow it into a production environment would be so fraudulent, it would be criminal.
Stick with the bigger trusted names and networks in poker. If you can pull this off in one without direct access to the providers servers, I'll lead the fight to burn them down.

Bingo. Notice the videos creator doesn't disclose that when promoting his product. In fact, if I recall correct he actually claims it's an online poker room and goes on to claim it can be done on all online poker rooms! Lie to and scare the public, then try and sell them some bs. Like when AOL tried scaring the public about broadband connections and that you should stick with them cause they would keep you safe. Those commercials used to make me lmao.
I commented the youtube page about it too.

lmfao I swung by this youtube vid to find that my comments been removed, and I've been banned, by the user, from posting comments to his videos? He's removing and fighting anyone who disputes and/or corrects his claims to sell his product.
Oh it's so sick that youtube enables these lamers to get away with this garbage lol. i've flagged it to youtube for terms of use violations of 5Cii and 5Civ. See if they're committed enough to their own terms to take them down.
If not, guess I need hookup a youtube video reply to all his vids. I've avoided getting involved with the youtube craze, but come on!

Notice the name of the poker site? It isn't a poker site. It is a game. Did a google on it and this info came up..

Poker Mavens ™ 1.11 is Texas Hold'em poker software that lets both friends and strangers play against each other over the Internet or home network for fun or practice. The software comes in two parts: a free Client Module that each player uses plus a Server Module that coordinates the action for each game. A designated game administrator can run the Server Module in private mode so that only their friends can join in, or in public mode so that anyone can join in. Read more..

So if this jackleg is running it on his computer in server mode then I am sure he can get hole card info and probably more. Don't be fooled by these rip off artists. If you are then you are the type of fish we want to see setting at the poker tables online...lol
Edit: I posted this to the comments on his video. Chances are I will be banned too... ...bahahahah...I have had worse done.
