After learning (and losing) my trade at Limit, i've 'moved on' to No-Limit and found i am holding my own, starting off with $50 i am currently on $30, but have been up to $120 and down to $20.
I play very low stakes, but it's all very frustrating at times as I can't make money !!
I have analysed my hands and found that AQ suited is a bad hand which surprised me.
What are your thoughts on AQs and winning in general ? Am i simply not betting enough on my winning hands (I have about a 70% success when playing a hand)

sometimes I love them, but they don't love me back.

At low limit AQ can be played from any position, we are only a big dog to AA KK QQ AK. From a late position play more aggressively raise BB X4-6, be aware of the danger card K in either the flop or as kicker in the villains hand for the A. in low limit you will get a lot of action from limpers with Ax so AQ can be very profitable. I don’t think your AQ is getting beaten so much by pocket AA KK QQ AK but more likely smaller pairs or drawing hands, If you don’t hit the flop represent a big over pair with a continuation bet, if the action gets too hot fold. From an early position limp or only call a small raise. If you don’t improve on the flop and depending on the action consider folding. If you hit bet it ½ to ¾ the pot, if you get re-raise consider you position. Suited AQ is marginally stronger than off-suited and can be played accordingly. This works for me in low limit with AQ.
