I think a value bet on the river on hand 1 is fine, villain has checked to you three times now, seems like he wants a cheap showdown. Obv. if you get raised then you fold.
Second hand I don't like check/raise here, 3bet range is pretty small at this level, he's probably gotta AA/KK maybe with the ace or king of spades, JJ, and AK with a spade.
