Okay, so 2 days ago I had about $500 on Pokerstars and decided that I'd hit up the NL25 tables in addition to playing many SNGs, 6.50s and 11s.
Yesterday and today have been absolutely sick, I can't win and my bankroll is now at $310.
What adjustments should I make?
Move back to NL10?
5.50 SNGS?
Quit Poker?
QUIT LIFE???
Stay at these limits until I sink below 200, and at that point quit poker/life?
How do you deal with a downswing and proper bankroll managament?
TY

Quit life, but dont quit poker...
But seriously, when i felt on hard times like that losing half my bankroll, i realized it was mostly because of
a)bad beats
b) tilt
c) tilt
I played higher games when i shouldnt have and i didnt stop because i thought, "well since its higher stakes, even if i lose a couple hands, i can still win that monster". Thats where you screw up, and you keep chasing the monster or just simply are off your normal game.
Dont try to win it all back at once. Set limits for yourself and go to smaller levels.
I lost most of it at cash games, so i went to the tourneys where i got quite a bit back. To help me fill in the gaps, i played some smaller NL games in which if i got up, i would leave after i felt that i was i was going to lose some of my winnings- hands stopped coming, calling station left, etc.
Take a bit of time off from the game or play lower levels just to give yourself a little change.

My poker life consists of me working up a bankroll nicely and then shipping back in a couple days. Working my way up. I'm sticking with NL25 and $11 sngs until I'm lower than 250, at that point I'll reajust.
I'm just working my way back up, as usual,, just made a sick niver bet with KK for a stack.

i've lost 270 in the last 3-4 days...
honestly when things are going bad, it's just going bad.. i dont remember much, but i remember i've lost every single 3-1s and having to lay the tuff hands down such as AQ, flop Axx and u bet out and get raised... calling those is no good... tho i might do it 90% of the time, on bad runs.. it's just the gut feeling im beat.. or flopping 2 pair and someone had a set. flopping a nut flush with AT on a KQJ rainbow and u get pushed all in with top 2 and they river u... it just sucks...
and including my over PPs getting cracked over and over heads up...
so i just cashed out everything... i had a roll about 650 to play NL50 and the thing is, i can beat these stakes so i stood with it...
if u need to drop back to a level then do so.. for me, i just take a nice long break and come back... cashing out allows me to wait 24-48 hours before the money hits the NETELLER so i know, ill have 2 days to clear my thoughts, in most cases, you could be losing because u play bad. i don't vent when i lose, but i kinda know im on tilt a bit....
think it over, but i think u should move back to NL10... and gL ^^

Move down until you get your groove back and bring the roll back up a bit would be my suggestion.
