Gimme 99 back

When Todd Brunson won that pot on HSP and tossed the dealer a $100 chip and said "gimme 99 back", was he being serious?

At first I thought he was joking, but the look on his face didn't say he was joking and they cut away pretty quickly.

A $1 tip after scooping a $50K pot? Is he serious? If i was the dealer i would definately have tossed it back to him saying "you can hook me up later" or something.

I'm not a fan of tipping for tippings sake but in a game like that to tip the dealer $1 after scooping such a big pot, especially in such a manner "gimme 99 back" that's just off.

When Jen Harman needed tipping chips she at least took the time to cash in $100 with someone else and then hook the dealer up.

He wasnt serious. There was something earlier where the people were short on $5 tips which is what they use for tipping. Someone did something where they sold Jennifer Harmon like $65 in $5 chips for $100 (or just gave them to her).

Todd gave her a $100 tip. It might have been w/ the idea that she got to keep it but wasnt going to get any more tips on his remaining pots.

Side note-isnt that a Bellagio dealer? I seem to remember her. I know they play at some place off strip this season, but I thought it would be odd to bring it an outside dealer for the show.

I really hope that's the case, $100 for her shift from him is cool.

I like Todd, I like the way he plays and stuff so when this happened I was like wtf is he srious? I wish they'd made it clearer on the show what had happened.

Looking forward to next weeks show, can't wait to see Ivey on this.
