set over set it is usually correct to go broke every time , unless you have some great reads.
I might have played this hand differently, but since in this level there is no way someone is going to fold J's - I'd go broke.

Depending on how you played it, if this was a cash game you might not have gone broke. But every other situation you aren't gonna be able to get away from it.

I probably would have gone broke even with a 100 BB stack. Just not enough hands that beat me for me to lay down.

You should ALWAYS go broke with your hand unless the stacks are EXTREMELY deep, like $5k in a 5/10 NL game. Also in a tournament, since you are never that deep, you have no choice. I like what Harrington says in volume 2:
"When I hear some player give some elaborate story on how they folded middle or bottom set because they just knew their opponent had top set, silently I think to myself: Idiot. When you flop a set, you are supposed to lose a lot of $$ and if you bust out of the tourny in a set over set confrontation, then it just wasn't your tournament."

I have laid down bottem set once. After 2 raises back to me I knew he had 10's when I had a set of 6's. Sir was kind enough to show me as well. Other then that I have lost loads of money when those situations come up.

going broke or not, i think u misplayed your hand on flop
since flop has straight possibilities u can't slow play it
just put na nice reraise there

I just wasn't sure how to play that exactly. Either way I was going broke, I highly doubt that guy would have folded J's to a board like that.

True, but that's being result oriented With T's in a tournament I will probably reraise that min raise Preflop and then consider folding to a push. That will have saved you actually.
Once you hit your set, you want to bet more to make it expensive to people who are drawing.
