So I am playing 6 handed at foxwoods on Saturday night at 1am. I got a tilted young gun to my left($2000 chips) 1 rich guy who played really tight with ($10,000) another guy had about $5,000 he was pretty lose, the looset player had around $15,000 and the last player was the chip leader with around $72K he had a stack of 10 5k chips I was amazed.
So heres the story I sit down, because my usual $5/$10nl game is full and it doesn't look like there is going to be anyone getting up anytime soon. I sit down with $2500 in chips. I sit for awhile basically playing basic computer poker, because I don't want to get caught in a bluff. So what happens next may surprise you. I get A/10 off and I raise to $125 on the button. The tilted kid to my left calls everyone folds. The flop came 9d Qd and 4c. I continue my bet with $200 and he calls. I put him on some sort of draw, probably the flush. The turn came 6s, and I bet $425 and he calls. At this point I feel horrible, because I have been called on two streets and I am holding Ace high. So the river comes down 2h so the board reads (9d Qd 4c 6s 2h) I push all in.
He thinks about this on the river and I feel that I sold the bluff, because I was not nervous at all and this was the funny thing $2500 is a lot to me, because I usually buy in for $1000 at the 5/10. Do you guys agree with my move I know it workerd, but I mean that bluff was hard to pull off.
Oh ya I played for about 2 hours total got up to $4500 and got up, because all these guys would call my raises no matter what I had, because they wanted to felt me cuz I started with soo little.

Good thing the bluff worked cause it almost cost you arm and a leg. I read alot about the 10/25NL at the foxwoods. Post more about them cause I enjoy reading the stories.

What hand exactly were you trying to represent? I think if he's a good player you're going to get called alot of the time. I mean any over pair, or AQ is probably just going to check on the end and take a free showdown!
