Hand for thoughts

$50k guaranteed on BD last night. Start with 3k in chips. We are in the first level of the second hour ($30/$60 blinds) and I have a short stack of $1760 (average is around 4k at this point). But, I still have a relatively healthy M (almost 20), so I don't need to go crazy yet.

I get Ac9d in the SB. 3 limpers to me, $270 in the pot to call $30. I complete and the BB checks (anyone fold this in this spot? I wouldn't think so getting 9-1, but it is a tourny and I have a very marginal hand here and I don't need to make a move. Thoughts?)

Flop comes As Qc 9c giving me top and bottom pair. I check with the intention of check-raising and bettor and potentially getting it all-in. Is that sound tourny strategy given my stack/hand/position?

UTG leads for $210. He has well over 7k and seems pretty solid, but I haven't seen him table too many hands. Folded to late position where a very loosey/donkish guy with 11k in chips (close to the chip lead) raises it to $1k.

What is your play and why?

I push
I don't see AA or QQ here w/ no preflop action, AQ is possible (although not real likely) but you are in good shape vs anything else.
I think you are most likely facing a pair of aces UTG w/ a good kicker (J or 10) and a flush draw or total air in late position.
Even if you see the worst possible hands (AA QQ AQ) you are not drawing dead (runners for fl) and I think you are in better shape than that.
With a shortish stack and only 1 hand i am really afraid of, I make my stand here.

well you intended to check raise. Be a bit of a silly check raise if you check folded. Insta all in mate your move has worked.

Solid boy leading out is a bit scary, but oh well. Loose big stack could have almost anything. We're protected really, in that the solid guy UTG has very little incentive to get involved with anything but a big hand: he sure as hell doesn't like to get involved here, OOP, against the donkish chipleader with most of his drawy hands here... which leaves us usually going HU against the donk while we tend to have him crushed, though occasionally UTG has 99 and we're spanked.

Nice read snoog. I pused and was called by both. Solid boy tabled 99 and donk-man tabled A8 off drawing dead. No runner-runner clubs or case Ace for me and I am gone.
