i got an email saying there was a special 50$ bonus available to me
all i've have to do is accept the bonus
then play a certain amount of hands
i figured ok i can do that so i d/l the software (i've already played on this
site before just not for a while)
i accepted the deposit then checked my real money balance and there
was nothing in my account
to clear the bonus I have to deposit money to play with
cause the bonus expires in a week I had to move 200$ over there
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

There was no trick. You obviously have to play real money to clear the bonus.

many of times party has deposited money into my account on the condition that I have to play a set amount of raked hands to be able to withdraw it... I never had to make a dep then... the way the email read implied the same thing...

FT sucks, i had one bad experience with them in their early days and that was it with me
when i wanted to cash out my roll... they didnt process it until i emailed them.
they send gay emails such as these and the way they write it, it makes it seem like they are untrust worthy, but all of this is my opinion.
for the amount of money they make (yes, they have a lot of players) they shouldn't do these type of shit... only makes their name bad.

i got the same email, but mine said 100$

I got the email and was entitled to $500, I didn't need to depo and I have been clearing it.
So I don't think it was a ploy at all.

Yeah I did so I don't see any kind of ploy what so ever by them really and if you call trying to generate activity then all sites are guilty of that.
As a sidenote, I have been playing on FT every day since November last year.

They offered me $300.

First, I like FT. They respond to email quickly and always seems to be correct.
Its weird to offer different players different bonuses. Guess it got to do with how long you are with them and how much you are playing.
I've been playing there like mad since the beginning of the year and haven't receive any bonus offers. Guess thats too short time.

Did you go to requests and "Check my bonus offers"?
