Do any of you guys actually participate in the Iron Man Challenge? I'm curious how long it takes to accumulate points there and what not... and do you get any stuff other than what I saw in the online iron man store?

This is my first time getting the ironman but this month i will be achieving silver. I play 10 max, 4 tables, and it takes around a hour. They rake every hand because of the fractional points, so its much easier then stars. 5,000 points will let you get anything from the store as well. The ironman freeroll pays about 1/3 of the people and some damn good money at that:)

The medal thing is a new thing.
Managed to qualify to Iron man freeroll 3 times, and every time donked out of it pretty fast.

I seem to get over excited about those 'big' freerolls and either play too loose trying to steal all the dead money (first couple of time less then half the people actually played) or too tight and blind off.

Its pretty easy to get 50 FTP per day, but you do have to play 20 days out of the month to qualify to the smallest iron man.

My friend and I are both going to qualify this month at the Iron status. You only need 200 points a day and we both can clock up to 3000 on a night so it's not too difficult.

We both play limit cash games which is the easiest I think to achieve points. I was going to have a go at the medals, but it's not really worth it because it's going to take a good few months to get anything worthile in the Iron Man Store, so it's the freeroll at a shot of winning 100k.
