Doyles room is like a ghosttown for now before the big change comes about. and theres one steady 100NL table going that has the same couple of people on it, including me.
i wanted to multi-table but since there are no other $0.5 - $1 tables i take a peek at the $2 table... and i see the exact same crowd sitting there! so i join in and buy in for the max.... and win the smoothest pot in my online career so far.
i just called the turn because in the previous hand the guy who's left behind me isolation re-raised all-in with QJ high, no pair no draw in a 3 way pot... and caught 2 clubs to take down the dude's set of 3s.... normally i'd be more prone to pop it up but he mightve even been drawing (dead). so i figured i'd give him a chance to pull the trigger..

Do you think there is some kind of beginner luck when you move up levels?
Yesterday I sat in a higher level with the full buyin for the 2nd time. Posted a blind from the co (as I joined) looked down on A's.
Got a caller. He c/r on a J high flop so I just called and we checked to sd. All he had was J9.
couple of hands later, again A's. Again I raise and now 2 callers. low flop I bet both call. blank turn . I bet both call. river complete a wheel str draw (need a 5).
EP push AI (around $25 in the pot he has $7 left) I think for a while and can't see someone with a 5 staying in the pot that long. i call and he have A3 to the giant bottom pair. So I more then dbl up before the blinds even get to me.
In the SB I get Q's and get a guy to call me to the turn. Within 1 round I triple my stack.

I might have popped it with the underboat there. They collectively have 9 outs to beat you (3 Jacks, Kings, and Tens), so I think I want to make sure I get it all-in on the turn. It worked out fine for you here, but you would have felt sick if the guy behind just called and then you lost.

youre right shorn,... i normally pop it up especially with the underfull, but i gave my reasoning for not doing it this time... the dude on the button cold calling the raise on the flop led me to believe he mightve had a flushdraw or straightdraw, in which case raising him out was the worst thing that could happen.
i was pretty sure the dude who pushed had a 9, no reason to believe the button had one too... but he did and that was quite scary. but him having the 9 also he wouldntve gone anywhere had i pushed anyway
i left the table with $620 by the way
