nl tournament, did playing nl shortstack cash games me up

ok i've i was good in tournaments, but have done terrible in last 2 and i'm not sure if its just been bad luck or if playing nl cash games short stacked screwed my game up ( i just started playing them lately)

It would be interesting to know how you would have played this prior to playing cash games short stacked. Most shorts stacked cash game players would have gone all-in pre flop or when they hit on the flop. (with either hand).

Let presume that in $30 MTT the level of play is better then in the low levels.

So what hand can villain have that he will call a PF raise and will c/r when the scary A comes on the flop that you can actually beat?
The only hand I can come with is ThJh (he might felt he had odds to call PF seeing there was another caller)
What other hands can he have to make that move? A9s or A7s (not too likely, but possible) and a set.
I really find it hard to believe someone will make such a move with an A out there. I can see him leading the flop trying to scare off, but c/r half his stack?
If it is a bluff it is a good one.

Does it mean I would be able to get away from this one? Not bloody likely. I actually think in the levels I play its a mistake to get away from this one Smile
