Nope...you had the nut straight but not the nut hand for that board.
I like the pre-flop raise. You did good there. The check after the flop I don't like. Your giving the guy a free card. Bet about a pot size bet here. The turn card was not scarry so I would probably do the same pot size bet and if he trails along with me then so be it. You made it too cheap for villian and gave him good odds to stick around and draw. Mind you he isn't going to hit the river enough times to make it pay but when you do give him odds to draw then most times it will happen.
Not technically a bad beat. If all the chips had went into the pot after the flop and he sucked out on you then it would have been a bad beat.
