last night we entered a 4.40 180 person sng. i get deep. with about 20 people my internet connection goes out. so i call him and he finishes it off for me finishing second for a cool 144$!!!!!!!!!

i just got screwed horribly hard in one of these
i tried a new tactic to just push every hand i decide to play
first hand i push with AQ and get called by A5... double up
second hand i push with 99 get called by AQ and win again
then the screwage began... i push with AK and get called by A2... 2 on the turn gets me
then i push in with A9 and get called by A3... 3 on the RIVER and i'm out.. then the guy who called off all his chips while dominated even has the audacity to put up a big mouth against me saying dumb shit like "bye bye" and "well I'm still in the tournament"
goddamn that pissed me off....

LOL that really sux  , but that strategy is really awesome when u get like KK and they all fold and u get KK or AA again and they call w/ marginal hands

wow i started up another one right after, playing the same way.. and sure as my name is tony im the biggest stack in the field until my 88 on the button ran into the SB's AA.. 3d biggest stack now
but again im getting called by horrendous hands like weak aces and pretty looking kings....
it really brings out the worst in opponents who think i must have nothing....
i am now convinced this is the sure fire way to go, i think im gonna play as many of these a day as possible all using this "strategy"

well god-fukking-dammit this just ruined my day
i applied the same way of playing in this second one, and i build another huge stack.
lost a chunk when my top pair and straight draw from the BB ran into a set. but i stole back a whole load of chips after getting moved to another table which got me back to an above average stack..
30 players left... i have 10K. dude with same ammount of chips raises to 2000 (BB 400). just like he did in the previous hand....
im in the SB with TT and push all-in obviously... this is the first time i hadnt folded to a raise.. every push i made i was the first in the pot... no calling or re-raising raises already made.. now i push in and he starts thinking.
he calls with A7d, flop is all clean but the A popped up on the turn... he has me covered by like 400 and busts me out.... are you fraking KIDDING me??? i dont care about the $4 i lost buying into these things but jesus christ, i made these idiots call me with such weak hands.
i get my money in as a 70-30 favorite 3 times and lost all 3!! and all 3 costed me the tourney... fukkin joke!
oh well, im gonna fire up a few more tomorrow and play the same way... obviously its working great.
(well, except for the donk-getting-lucky part)

ive been playing a lot of these, and seem to be building a stack in almost all of them. and i think when you get beat like that, its just a timing thing on picking spots.
