My March S&G report

Posted Thu Mar 29, 2007 6:55 am GMT by MrDarling
I've emailed FT and they sent me a complete report on my S%G played in March

Report :
Total game played : 80 (45 $5 and 35 $10)
placed :
1st : 23
2nd : 9
3rd : 7
worse : 41

Total costs : $576 + $51.95
total made : $769.5
profit : $141.55
%ROI = %22.5 (I think profit / total costs)

I'm trying to work on the data file to see where did I make most money (2, 6, 9 or 18 players game)
Once I finish programing that file, maybe I'll launch my own version of sharkscope Smile

looks nice!

i started playing SnGs today after a very long break in playing them

i play the $10+$1 on stars as i have less money on there, gonna have to start builing again

anyway, i played 9 today.

1st: 1 ($45)
2nd: 1 ($27)
3d: 2 ($18)
nothing: 5

costage: 9 * 11 = $99

winnage: 45 + 27 + 18 + 18 = $108

total profit: 108 - 99 = $9....

hey thats 1 buck a game

ok, after a lot of playing around with numbers and codes and stuff I came up with a complete report.

$10 game : I played 35 - invested $380.5 and profited the amazing $17.5 fro a %4.6 ROI (even though I'm 40% ITM)
My biggest ROI is 4 players HU shootout (Though I only played 2 Razz)
2nd best is HU - I played 8 games and won 5.

I'm losing in 9 and 18 players (my 9 players ROI is the lowest -41.5%) - played 7 and got 2nd in 2.

$5 games : I played 44 - invested $241 and profited $130. A nice %54 ROI.
My biggest is again 4 players HU shootout though here I played 3 and won 3. A whooping 270% ROI .
Here my weakest is the 6 players . I played 18 and only won 3.
The 9 players I have a healthy 40% ROI
And the 18 players is amazingly high - played 13 and won 5 , a nice 164% ROI

Its a very small sample size.
But what I did learn is : I'm strongest in HU. I should play those 4 players HU shootouts more.
And I should play more of those 18 players.

In all fairness to my self. The beginning of the month was better for me, and thats when I played most $5 games. I don't think I did worse in $10 because the level of play is different , I just think I either played generally less good, or was on a bad run. (some days both)

Lately I've been doing real bad. April doesn't look good at all.
I think I became a little too aggressive early on and people do not respect my attempt to steal later on any more. And since it is almost doesn't matter how big chip lead you have once it get to final 3 - you need to be able to steal a lot or you are blinded out.
