No reads villain just joined the table, I called the blind hoping for someone to raise, my intention was to re-raise. $1.25 bet by the villain, you would have to think he has a hand, every one else did.

Questions
Would you have just called pre flop, or would you have raised, if raised how much.

Now I am HU what should my play be.

The UTG limp reraise is a sure sign to advertise you have A's or K's. But luckily, in these levels no one pays attention.

Since you are the last to act, and there is no one else in the pot. Both options are valid. Though I probably reraise at least 80% of the times OOP.
If someone else called his raise I always reraise it.

Now, as for the amount, usually 3X his raise if there is no one else in the pot is ok. Sometimes, I might just push it. Making it look like I don't want to call.

With a reraise we tell everybody that we have aces, so why not flatcall and bet about 2/3 of the pot on the flop... that will confuse him... but like mrdarling said... i hate to play aces oop

when I'm last to act and I know it's going to be heads up I usually flat call... the Limp reraise, like everyone said, is a sure sign of As... flat calling is nice cause I disguises your hand...

on a non scary flop you get a c/r in against the villian...

with Aces you're a huge favorite to win it heads up so why not play a pot... use a little post flop skill and play the hand out... if you're so worried about them getting busted then maybe you should've just open pushed...(not directed at anyone in particular... just saying)

Guess I won't buck the trend: I usually would flat-call here as well. A bunch of the hands that can't stand a re-raise will hit the flop hard enough to lose more money to you if you let him see it.

I didn’t particularly want to play out of position when I had no read, then having to second guess every card, so I figured he knows as much about my game as I know about his and would have been happy for him to fold, so I pushed. It’s not a play I like but this time it went okay.
