Well, I'm considering investing in a cheapo PC to be able to bonus whore.
so what can a decent poker player (break even at worse) expect to make in bonus whoring?

i've heard of hardcore bonuswhores making up to 1200$US a month in bonuses alone...
if all depends on how muich you're going to start with and if you're willing to take a risk by having multiple accounts (4 party accounts)...
if you're playing 25-50$NL and starting with at least 500$..you could easily walk away with a lot of scratch...
100% 1st dep on stars x4 200$ = 700$ (in 25hrs)
100% 1st dep on FT x4 2400$ = 3100$ (in 420 hrs)
this is at 4 tabling 50$NL at 25hrs a week would only take 18 weeks to clear... 4 months and you made 2600$ in bonuses... you'd be making roughly 5.60 $/hr win or lose from the bonuses...
of course to my understanding you play higher stakes and might even play more than 4 tables at a time?

No, I play $25NL .
And no, I am not going to create 4 account in one site. Don't see the use, you can't play in more then one account in the same time, and I think there is enough sites around to bonus whore.
If I played higher levels I wont be worrying about bonus whoring. I enjoy the poker side of the game and only want to build a bigger roll so I can wet my feet where the game starts being poker...

If you break even playing it is reasonable to go from $50 - $3500 in a few months. This is a few months old so some of these bonuses may have changed and not all will be avaliable to American players but here's an example.
Sun - $50-$200 (100% 1st dep. to $50 + 100% reload to $100)
Inter - $200-#300 (100% reload to $100)
plex - $300-$350 (100% reload to $50)
willhill - $350-$400 (100% reload to $50)
FCP - $400-$600 (100% 1st dep to $200)
Titan - $600-$800 (100% 1st dep. to $200)
paradise - $800-$850 (25% 1st dep. to $50)
Noble - $850-$950 (50% 1st dep to $100)
Doylesroom - $950-$1610 (110% 1st dep. to $660 google doylesroom 110% for an affiliate offering this bonus)
pokerroom $1610-$1710 (20% 1st dep to $100)
redo crypto - $1710-$2010 (100% reload to $300)
AP - $2010-$2250 (24% reload to $240)

the reason to have more than 1 account on the same site is to take full advantage of the bonuses... only a small handful of sites have easy to clear bonuses... party, stars, fulltilt...
say FT is offering their 50% 300$ max reload you can clear that 3-4 times by the end of the month...
just clear it the first week with one account... withdraw... dep on the next acc.. clear, withdr... etc..

At least clear a 20% up to $100 bonus at Party Poker and Empire Poker (same player-base, different skin) - this bonus is by-far the easiest bonus to clear out of anyone.
If you are looking for very easy-to-clear bonuses, don't look for the 100% first deposits b/c they will require a sick # of hands, which you will have tons of trouble with at NL10/NL25
Party/Empire/Stars will be the easiest by far, trust me

My current poker BR is $200 (somehow managed to dong over 10 buyin in $25NL in 2 sessions, and been running real bad in S&G - had $500 a week and a half ago)
So I am not even rolled to play $25NL. Am I in danger to go bust trying to clear a bonus playing $25NL with such a low starting BR?
Any way, as soon as I clear my mess with neteller I'll start the bonus hunt and keep you guys informed.
Anyone tried the free $100 from Party? Should I go for it, or is it better to follow webby plan and go to party bonus when my br is big enough to get the full $100 (actually, its the same - $100 free) I think I'll start with that.

Yes you are in danger of going bust early in a bonus whoring session if you are underrolled, but then you're in danger of busting anyways, might as well make some bonuses if you can.
The Crypto sites (Sunpoker, Interpoker, Pokerplex, williamhill etc.) allow you reload bonuses every month, so if you get low you can always go back and redo those.
Go for the maximum bonus at each site, if you can't deposit enough to get maximum then go somewhere else until you do.
Please sign up through TH-P banner ads where possible, it helps to pay for the hosting and stuff.
My list is by no means definative, just an example of what's possible if you plan things out in advance.
I totally don't recommend multiple accounting on any site which prohibits it. If you do try this then make sure you have different deposit methods for each, it could get kinda messy, you do NOT want to have your account closed somewhere while you have money logged with them. Sites actively watch for multiple accounts, esp. when it comes to bonus money. (I had my account closed on Party because I had an account already from years ago, both got frozen until I sent them a photo ID and it got sorted ou. Fortunately I had no money in either account.)

As someone who whored somewhat regularly for most of last summer, I can say that the Crypto bonuses are an excellent starting point. Pretty easy to clear, 5 or 6 different sites giving 50-100 bucks a pop. That should give you a nice start, at least 5-600 depending how much you deposit/win/lose.
I would suggest trying your hand at limit though, as the average pot in limit tends to be bigger at comparable stakes, so you get more points raked to clear the bonus. It'll go much faster. .50/1 or 1/2 is managable starting with $200 to start, which is what I started with. I ran kind of crappy to start and was down to about $100, but then the bonus cleared and I won a bit back and ended my first site with about $250 (I think it was Interpoker). Moved on from there, left Crypto with about $900 after investing ~$250ish.
The only problem with Crypto is that a few sites on the network need to mail you a PIN to be able to withdraw, so what you might want to do is sign up for all of them now, then wait a week or two before you deposit to start playing. I think the longest I had to wait for a PIN was about two and a half weeks.
After that, you can either do them all again, since it might take you a month if you're playing NL25, or move on to another site. Bonuswhores is definitely a valuable resource. Familiarize yourself with the sites and their bonuses, and develop your own plan of attack.

Since discovering rake back, I can't hardly play without it

I'm glad this thread exists, I am offline right now as far as online poker goes, but once I buy my computer a couple months down the road, I'm gonna whore it up sooo much, I'm definitely gonna go through the lists

Is there any way someone can give an estimate of hours it will take to clear a specific bonus per tabled play.
Like Ensano did for stars and FTP.

they give expected hourly clear rates for all the different stakes (keep in mind these are just estimates... still very close though)

Just calc how many hands you have to play for the bonus to clear.
As for bonus whoring in general, if you break even you should easily clear about a thousand bucks in your first month.
As for multiple accounts, I have never used them and it probably goes well to do so, but I think they can/will take your money if you are discovered.
Clearing party first is a good way to go, simple bonus and you get reloads periodically which are also simple. For medium bankrolls after that you can clear a bunch of 50$ and 100$ prima bonuses. Prima also has some nice minimal stakes MTTs which charge no rake, so fire up alongside your bonus whoring and you are all set for a bonus evening.
After that I'd go for some crypto thingy, where you could (before) combine a rakeback/bonus/monthly bonus deal while playing. Though these days I guess the playerbases have moved alot due to the poker-ban in USA thingy.
After a while you might want to look into rakeback/reload bonuses instead, so do some research and save those sites for last.

Pacific has a nice 25% up to $100 as well, it's very similar to party/empire in how easy it is to clear. That's an easy $300 that shouldn't take much more than a week, seriously, just google bonus whores and go there, you will get much better information.
