My wife wants an account.

My wife has recently decided she wants to open an account at the site I play on. We have an extra CPU for her to use but I am concerned that because we are running on the same wireless network that it will cause a conflict with the multi account thing. Anyone know if this will be a problem?

When PokerRoom kicked me out and I went shopping for a new online room this was one of the issues I considered. I asked this exact question of PokerStars support before signing up and they said it was absolutely 100% OK with two pretty understandable restrictions:

1. You can't play at the same table

2. You can't play in the same tourny (for obvious reasons)

My wife, daughter, and I all have accounts with PS and two of us are frequently online at the same time through the same wireless network connection. No problems at all.

Actually, no problems with the site. When my wife loses it is my fault. Prepare to take cover.

when I had 4 roomates we would frequently all play on stars at the same time... again... no same table.. but we were allowed to play in the same MTTs.. just not SNGs...

This is site dependent. PokerRoom would not allow two real money accounts from the same household. Again, PokerStars says No Problem. Not sure at all about any other sites.

Email your sites support before setting it up and ask them.

You can't let women cook! 80% of the women can't cook these days.

A better solution is to hand over all the poker bibles and make her play winning poker and cook yourself. That way you get $$$ and good food.
