back to back backdoor flush

Posted Mon Apr 16, 2007 1:27 pm GMT by MrDarling
first hand I sat on the table I get J's in the BB. I raise to $1. Villain (short stack, only $10) call.
Flop 966. I bet , villain raise half his stack. I decided this his a 9 or a pocket pair as often as it is a 6. And since his stack was so small I would have to call any turn or river push I pushed. And of course, he had A6o - just a cooler.

I sit tight and then this two hands happen back to back :

I can almost understand hand 1. Float flop with your monster then call a hugh odd less turn bet after picking the nut flush draw. But hand 2?
I played hand 2 real bad because I was tilting from the previous hand. Should have known better then to push that river. Luckily, my reload didn't come in yet.

Needless to say - insta body list!
