I encountered the most amazingly wacko player in my usual .25/.50 FL ring game on Stars two nights ago. He had some wacko characteristics I've seen before such as playing 80% of hands and raising every hand he played, reraising with 3d pair, capping with an ace high hand on the river, etc. (One tell I quickly caught was that if he played a hand without raising it he actually had good cards!!!) If he was in the hand you could count on raises for at least the preflop, flop, and turn from him.
So far interesting but not unheard of. Here's where ordinary wackoness graduates to Amazing Wackoness. If he liked you (which seemed to be if you'd chat with him without swearing at him), and if you raised him, he would ask if you had a hand and if you wanted him to reraise for you to help build the pot!!! I never replied to these offers but was able to take advantage of his predictablity by check-reraising on a couple of good hands. This guy became the focal point of the table and you could see some players tilting left and right because of him but myself and at least one other learned to adapt our games to this guy. One poor guy tilted horribly, kept losing really heartbreaking hands to the wacko (who was amazingly lucky for a while), rebuying, and busting out again, all the while swearing up a storm.
Wacko's name was PEYTONxxx (not actually "xxx", those were digits I just don't remember).
