Had a pretty crappy session this morning. Didn't get any card and couldn't make any moves (I almost never make moves in $25NL - but got desperate). Every c/r I did got reraised, every c-bet I made got raised etc...
Then this happen and my luck changed and I finished the session (after 450 hands) a little more then a buyin up (after being 1.5 down)

I didn't raise the flop since the guy had a tendency to c/r AI and sure my hand is strong but had such a crappy run.. (weak, I know)
I'm very surprised he didn't push the turn or river (though on the river its one card shy from flush str8)
gotta love poker , sometimes

Wow, nice hand....I for one have never had a straight flush. I'm very suprised he checked the river, what with the A high flush...I can't imagnie he was putting you on a straight flush.
Is it possible your push on the turn scared him?? And yes, I'm suprised he didn't push more on the turn too.

On the turn I think he was trapping me. On the river, well you need to be a complete blind not to notice the possibility of a str8 flush. Any or made it.

I like this hand. The only thing I am not wild about is the re-raise on the turn. I personally would have called the turn and pushed the river but that is just me.
I can never find myself raising with suited connectors but I will not hesitate to call a raise with them.
Nice hand.

The reason I reraised the turn is simply because I do not want a lone higher club a cheap draw. Also, a river club might kill the action had he have no clubs.
If he pushed the turn, I would have to think long and hard before calling.

Great result. I note your reason for not pushing on the flop and can only say well done. I still like to put a good size bet on the table when I flop an OESFD.
