Just finished a long 8 hour tournament playing the 55k on pokerstars. Under instruction from a friend who said these tournaments are better for me cos of the deeper stacks and more play I played it even though I thought it'd be hard to motivate, but i decided to play it funnly , play good poker and see where it gets me.
Well, I took it down again tonight. Not completely outright, I did a deal 4 way, for $10,800 which was a great deal for me since 1st was gonna be $12,000.
At one point when blinds were 3/6k I even had 4k ! So This is a great feat for me, I ended up winning officially too as we had to play for tlb points.
I am being honest when I say the best hand I had the last 3 hours was 9-9 , I did small raises, played smallball and again somehow these guys in these rebuys allow me to do it. I think the higher stakes players dont let people push them around which makes it harder so I guess could be another reason for the lack of wins lately.
Anyway, just thought I'd tell you guys of the result since its always nice to brag when you go through 1,478 players to win $10,800.
1 of the best things i take from this mtt is that during the break heads up the guy said " I figured you'd take 1st" ...I said why and he said " you're intimidating to say the least"...... Especially when your questioning your ability to get that is comforting.

Taking down a $55K GTD at Stars three times has got to be either a world record or damn close to I reckon. Amazing work again

Maybe break it up into 3 videos. Early tournament, Bubble time, Final Table.

Yeah I had had month or 2. Tournaments though , you can run bad for any amount of time , certainly earnt this win though.
