Hero?

Was going to fold turn - but I think I get good odds to hit a 7 or a 5.
is that an ok call?

What about the river? I hit my str8 but its a dirty board? Should I lead it? Can I call it?

6 outs - from which 2 can be dirty (I can't give someone credit for the harts flush, can I?)

well say u dont belive hearts are there
then u have 3 5's and 2 7's ,

and the caller could be holdin 9Ts 97s , small chance i know but personally i dont like it

There is always a chance you are good.

You need to be good more than 25% of the time to make the call.

You shouldn't be good here 25% of the time but hey IT'S NL25 AND HE COULD HAVE ANYTHING.

You could also factor in the possible value of knowing exactly what he had and how he played it.......

What about my turn call? Was it throwing money away or did I have odds to call there?

What hands range do we put both players on?
(which of course I didn't during the hand)

ok - here were sort of my thoughts during the hand :

Flop :
Pf on the flop I either put him on two over cards or a mid pair. Maybe even smaller then the board. I can't see a big pair not raising this draw heavy board

caller can have anything but is more likely a draw

turn :
I was shock by the size of the bet. it really didn't seem like PF raiser have it. And the cold call mean nothing. Probably still drawing.
I am now thinking there is a chance my hand is good as it is and I've got 6 outs to improve.

River - damn, not the color of 5 I wanted to see.
I think I should have block bet this one. sadly I checked / fold. PR raiser called though so I know what they had.

All I really want to know is : Was my turn call any good?
Should I have lead the river?

My advice would be fold or raise the flop.

I think you were OOP, fold.

I lead the flop for about 3/4 pot - both called. Was planing to fold turn but the bet size was so small I felt I had odds to play. This is what I am not sure about

I like the lead on the flop.

I think I would probably have played it worse than you did Smile

Eh the problem with the turn call is that you are drawing very thin and to an obvious straight draw which is unlikely to get paid off well. And then if you make your straight, but it completes a flush draw (especially diamonds) you have a difficult decision.

Cut your losses, tossing it on the turn is the best option here, easy river fold.

I fold the turn.

Your made hand sux, especially when the A falls.

You have very few outs and you are drawing to hands that have not much implied odds and/or that might not be a winner.

PF: Easy call

Flop: I like the lead. We are likely ahead, but are very vulnerable. A check-raise would mean committing a lot of money with a marginal hand.

Turn: Easy fold. It might seem as if you're getting a good price, but really you're not. Small bets followed by calls indicate that at least one of the villains is on a flush draw. Besides, even if you do get there, there will be 4 to a straight on the board, which means you're not likely to be payed off.

River: Easy call. One of the diamonds got there, but it's backdoor. You are getting close to 3:1.

The flush on the river is not the back door one. So that make the call much harder.

I realize my turn call was bad.

btw - results : PF raiser had wait for it : K's
And the caller, the one who beat in the end : 8To

I did fold to the river bet though.
