Are there any that are good? I mean, are there any that have a structure good enough not to be a total crap-shoot for $100 or less?
I'm probably going to be in Vegas sometime in mid-June for a little while (staying at IP most likely), and curious if there are any good tournies worth the time, or if I should just stick to $1/$2 NL, $2/$5 NL, and $3/$6 - $10/$20 Hold'em/Stud/Omaha-8?
If anyone knows any goodies, please post them here.

Harrahs has a decent tourney daily at 11am. Sean and I played in it. It plays normal for the 1st 2 hours, then it becomes and all in show. I think it was about 3-3 1/2 hours when I busted out in 7th out of 60 or so. $50+40 add on.
Also, Caesars runs a $80 daily w/ deep stacks and lots of play. There is an add on-so it might as well be $120 (I think) buy in. That runs for 6-8 hours before wrapping up.
IP had a noon or 1pm cheap tourney, I only lasted for about 75 minutes, but you likely get 2 hours before blinds kill you.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Caesar's tourney Dave's talking about.

Caesars Noon Tourney
$80 buy in gets you 1500 in chips
$50 add-on/rebuy gets you an additional 3k
30 minute levels, starting at 25/50
usually 100+ players
Binions tourneys are all good as well.

Agreed. The afternoon $60 (I think) is pretty good and usually well subscribed.
I really like the $125 Golden Nugget evening tourney but it is only on certain nights and usually the field is small (30-40) so might not be to everyone's taste.

I've heard that the tourneys at the Sahara have good structure. Bit far on the strip though.

played in this quite a few times. $40+$22 RB/AO
now its pretty top heavy paying only the FT w/ 120+ seats. standard low stakes MTT where most ppl suck.
