Was playing a 20+4 Tourney yesterday on FT and I cant get the hand out of my head

Blinds are 100/200

Everybody folds to the SB (16.000) who was pretty solid, but everytime it was folded to him in the smallblind he raised it 3xBB and giving up the hand after some resistance.

So he raises to 600 and I look down on King of SpadesSeven of Spades and I call and have about 11.500 left

Flop comes Nine of SpadesSeven of ClubsThree of Spades

He bets 200

Me ?

I'm almost certainly not. We're pretty much a favorite or near even equity against anything but a set, K9, or KK.

I'm on board with the raising option, because in the event of a call, it probably gives us the biggest range of options on the turn. I raise to around 1000 (give or take) here.

I raised to 800 (a little too less probably, but he will fold anyway if he has nothing)

he calls

turn comes Five of Diamonds

he bets 2800

Now its time to fold.
What ever equity you had on the flop is now gone. You are now behind his range, especially from his description.
He probably have an over pair here most of the time.

yeah no longer like the hand,
my not folding this comment is in case he reraises on flop,
on turn things turn a bit ugly

What hands does he hold?

keep in mind that i had a story with this guy: i stole like 4 or 5 times his Sb-Raise either by a reraise or a raise on the flop.

Hand range could be A9-PP. He might have also made a set. He might even be poorly playing an AX hand.

Pretty costly to stick around and find out. I think I would lay it down here.
