i wasn't on about me, (i was just showing you how unlucky this guy was losing with quad queens)

I know. I was just kidding.
but that actually led me to think about something. Imagine they check this to the river, and then one of them bet and you are next to act - do you call?
I mean, there is a boat there, the chances of one of them have an A or a Q are pretty slim.

I would be the poor shmuck with the quad Queens...lol. No way in the world you could lay down quads...even if there was a very small chance of someone having higher quads.
This hand just makes me sick to read. The chances of quads VS quads is so slim.

Both these guys were ultra tight and multi tabling. If they both checked the flop, I would of bet. In all fairness, I was even contemplating raising preflop.

Am I right in thinking that that hand would fail to qualify for a bad beat jackpot in a casino because Mr KQ doesn't use both his hole cards?
I bet DeerRun wishes he had $110 at the start of the hand.

I can honestly say with either hand, if this ever happened to me I would talk about it for the rest of my life. Amazing.

| Yes, I think you're right. The table actually spent the following 20 minutes talking about the bad beat jackpot.
The best thing is; the guy who lost, took it really well. He found the funny side and made comments like "Hey that's poker" and "Eight tities and I still leave empty handed". I'm glad he can laugh about it, because IMO there's nothing funny about this hand!!!! Fair play to him

It wouldnt be a bad beat, both cards have to play

i lost quads to quads on more than one occasion. All in preflop tho, in those 10 rebuy madness first hours.
