I don't really get hand 1.
I think even if he shows you his hand, you still have to fold.
There is a short stack there that will soon be blinded away. The jump from 3rd to 2nd in money is pretty decent that it is worth it to wait to a better spot. Actually, I think you can't call his PF push with anything but K's or A's..
pushing into him is a different story, but calling a push ?
