hand I played at the casino...

10 player 2 / 5 No Limit
My stack - $450
Other stacks range from $300 - $3000

I'm one behind dealer and get dealt A5 hearts.

4 people call to me so I limp and the dealer calls, blinds also call / check.

Flop comes 5c,5s,8h.

Everyone checks, until 5th player raises $15, he's got about $2000 in front of him. Folds to me.

I raise it up to $45, everyone folds and he puts it up to $100.

What do you do? Fairly new to the table, no good read on the player.

Try to get all your money in somewhere. I would expect 88 to have raised somewhere preflop. But reads help for something like that.

You are looking at 67 or a worse 5.

Just call the flop. Push any turn bet that he makes.

the only thing you have to really think of in this situation is how do you get all your money in the pot... 8s are a posibility for villian to have here but you can't fold your set on that alone..

he could also be playing something like 85s but then again it's the same situation...

you're most likely against an overpair here... I've seen this situation time and time again at the casino... people love to slowplay big pairs JJ-AA in any position, against any amount of opponents... and seem to just go crazy no matter what comes up on the flop...

if you think he'll call (which I do seeing as how he be and 3bet) push right here...

if he'll most likely fold to a push call... then when he bets the turn push regardless of what it is..

Ok, I'm glad that other people saw it the way I did.

I actually put him 5x. I decided to push then and there. He thinks about 10 seconds then calls.

He flips his 88's, and I do not get any help on turn or river, and he takes my stack. Sad

Is there anyway I could've gotten out of this hand or was I doomed for the beginning?

You were doomed from the off. Worst flop possible and I think any card other than an 8 on the turn has you all-in there no matter what.
