You definitely have the lock on 7th street. You have an 8-low and the best he could have is a 9.

Yes, best villain can make is a 9. His river bet was pretty bad, IMO.

Played it fine, although on 3rd if he does have a T draw he is actually a small favourite iirc, but I would probably bet it to try and take the pot away from them.
Don't like a check raise. At the higher stakes you will notice the majority of the players will just check behind but call a bet, so you are best just betting out .

I can't see him possibly calling your raise, it looks like he was betting to try and steal the pot away. Checking probably was the right play to make in this case, but i'm not sure if its right in general. Depends on your opponent, etc. I generally bet on the end if I've led the whole way tho.

Pfff, don't quote me. :D looks like you are disagreeing with that I am saying.
That said, I did exactly the same as you did just then, but only because I knew if he made his 8 he will bet it if I check because there is a considerable amount already in the pot and I may have been forced to call with a T, but I rarely do it.
