Didn't see a place for newbies to say hello, so I figured General would be ok.
Been playing texas hold'em since January, started with World Tavern Poker, and I also play online, small stakes stuff, so I guess that makes me a mixed player.
Been lurking for the past few days, looks like a good crowd. Looking forward to posting and contributing what little I know.

Possibly, but what if he had said he started out at Poker Stars in January. I guess it's a pretty thin line.

how do you know this already?
sure we've seen "sleeper cell" type spamming here before but we can't start treating him like a spammer cause of something someone else said...
just be polite and say hi to him like everyone else is and then if he does spam and get booted you can make yourself feel good by giving us all the I told you so's you want... till then... heel...
