today i played €2-2 NL at the local casino
bought in for €200
i build my stack up to ~€280 without showing down much
then a crazy hand occurs:
i limp along with QJs in MP. button raises to 5XBB. couple of calls in front of me, i call
flop
A-8-6
checks around
turn
A-8-6-9
checks around again so i bet out €20 trying to pick it up
initial raiser folds as do some limpers, one limper calls
river
A-8-6-9-8
all of a sudden instead of checking or betting the dude flips open his hand (!!!!); 5-5
hmmmm
i bet €42.... he CALLS!!! frustrated i show my QJ and he rakes the pot saying "if you had gone all-in i wouldve folded"
OK genius
so im a little rattled after this, and call a raise with 9-9
flop
A-3-3... initial raiser bets the same ammount he bet pre-flop; weakness!
MP huy raises him so im forced to fold.. he calls
turn
A-3-3-9
initial raiser shoves, guy behind him calls
IR shows KQs for a flushdraw, other guy shows K-3, and rivers a K for a boat... now im even more rattled and my stack has dwindled down to about ~€100... and i reload to €200
a few hands later multiway limpage, im in MP with 9-9...
flop
T-9-3 rainbow.
guy in front of me open pushes for €30.... i mull it over and call
the rest folds and i flip up my 9-9 while the dude doenst flip up his hand
turn
T-9-3-7
river
T-9-3-7-T
he pumps his fist and tables T-7!!!! WHAT!?!?!
some time goes by without much happening for me until the table is about 6 handed. i raise in the BB to €10 with AK, one limper calls
flop
K-6-6.
i bet out €14, dude raises €40 more. i call
turn
K-6-6-9
i check, dude bets €80, i shove in for about €90 more.. he folds and says he had K-7 but THOUGHT he had K-9 and thats why he bet the turn
so im about break even now with like €300 in front of me when the dealer says the last 3 hands of the night will now be dealt
i fold the first, the second i look down at two black Queens... lots of limpers in front, so i decide to shove it all-in... lets gambllll
guy in the SB thinks for a bit then calls for €193 and shows.... wait for it.............
Q-8 of diamonds!!! HAHAHAAAAA
the board reads 9-9-K-4-2 and i take all his checks and leave the game with €185 profit.
hooray for casino madness!

I really need to start visiting the casinos more often.
Thank you for posting, it's always fun to read a little trip report.
