I play in a smallish home game (6-9 players) with .10/.20 NL hold'em. Though the blinds are small, we get some good pots. Anyways, myself and villian are big stacks at the table, and we had a battle over this hand.
hero has $80, is tight/agressive, and had won two big hands showing down top full boat and pot steal hit (two pair 3/6). Basically a super system type of player.
villian has $75, is loose/agressive, and had won a lot of simply lucky call/agression hands. This player will play/call with "decent" hands often (j8, q10, etc). Typically doesn't stay in on anything under the sun (known to fold typical "bad" hands). Calling station supreme. Will raise in any position. Personally, I think he plays with way too many hands, raises out of position too often, and calls out of odds far too often. However, it works for him, and he is pretty much a consistent winner.
Villian pays small blind .10
big blind .25
fold fold etc....
playerX calls .25
Hero (button) raise 1.00 to 1.25
Villian calls 1.00
big blind folds
playerX folds
Flop

Villian raises $2.00
Hero raises $8 to $10
Villian calls $8
Turn

Villian raises $20
Hero...
What's your play here?
Result below:
Hero raises $45 to $65 and is all in
Villian calls $40 and is all in
River:
5s 6s Jd 7h Qs
Villian shows 3s 4s Queen high flush
Hero shows Ks Kc pair of kings
Villian wins pot appx $150

Players like this guy tend to not know how to play well out of position. When you raise somebody on the flop, they call OOP and then lead into you on the turn it usually means they've got a monster but are scared of you checking behind or that they hit the turn card. They are almost never bluffing and aren't giving up their hand.
It's hard to do it, but this is a fold
