what odds do you need to chase an OESD?

only getting 3:1 here on the turn but the EP might call giving me 4:1... do i chase on implied odds or is this a clear fold... assume both villians are average TAGs....

Open ended straight draw with 1 card to go gives you 8 outs, or about 17% chance to hit. This equates to 5:1 against.

On the turn, there's $7 in the pot. Villian bet's $3.50, giving you 3:1 odds.

Magic poker eight ball says fold. Smile

lol... thx... i know that much... i mean more like I have the button so i can control the betting so i mean can i count on implied odds to make up my difference...

i find myself in these type of spots often enough...

should i be making a raise to a possilbe pos bet?... or is just straight up folding here best line?

You have someone left to act behind who led the flop. I'd be concerned about getting squeezed by a check-raise in this spot.

Nobody here can answer that in the vacuum of one hand.

Why didn't you raise the flop when you actually had position?

The guy is betting half the pot, so I'm guessing that he has something, and that he knows enough to see the straight draw, and bet enough to make the pot odds against you.

Fold.
