over shuffled cards

everytime I play, all I get all night are crappy cards. Could this be from the cards being shuffled too many times? or is it just the way it goes? Is it possible to shuffle cards too many times before dealing?

How many times should the cards be shuffled before dealing them?

3 times. If you shuffle any more often, you will not get good cards.

Leaving the first two aces in the deck as the nth card where n is the number of players at the table always works for me.
