Looks like he might be trying to block bet here, but I can't imagine with what. Personally, I take the cheap one here, because raising and then facing a reraise is pretty much a total disaster. Keep the pot small, IMO.

i would of raised the turn... these types of bets are indeed block bets and i put him on top pair... i come across many situations like this and a raise usually make them check the river or fold from the raise.
but in ur situation... u can keep it cheap... i still thinking raising gives me a better read... the last bet from him could of been like 10 dollars and what would u do then? call him down with no info on his strength?

Call the river, obv. Cry when he shows you the winner, then move on.

Man, I waited too long thinking about the final outcome.
Yeah, it's a bit tricky with someone playing back at you. You could keep the pot small as one person suggested, and you had the odds to call on the end.
I think a push on the turn looks good in retrospect, but it's such a scary board. I don't know why this guy wants to proceed on a board like this out of position. Definitely playing with fire.
You got this guy outclassed man. Make sure you find him on another table and tkae his money.

Well, he gave away crucial information on this hand. A weak lead bet indicated a weak hand. If he makes this move again, you can probably punish him.
I still prefer flat calling the turn given what we knew, but if we had this hand as additional information, I would definitely raise. That's why reads and information are so important.

Man I hate it when people do this ... such an annoying betting pattern from the villain here, but it makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised to see a flopped flush played the same way though.

yep and i was correct... top pair... and he got lucky on the river... he was kinda scared that u had the flush probably and i think he tried to make it cheap for himself to see a showdown...

I raise the turn. You are at least drawing at the nuts, and you might be up against something like JxT or something like that. I mean he hit a 5 outer, so not a whole lot you can do. But honestly, if you call the turn, you are forced to call the river too, I'd be sick to see a $15-20 bet on the river here...
