There is a 6xbb raise pre-flop and a check raise on the flop with a caller. Am I behind a larger pocket pair and should lay this down?

first, your reraise is too small. You are giving small pairs and even suited connectors the right odds to call.
second, your flop bet is too small. This is a very draw heavy board and especially with 3 other players in the hand. I'd pot this.
Now higher pocket pair is the last of my worries here. If he did in fact chose to play A's or K's like that please pay him up. We want him to continue to play those so badly. As it is a min c/r on this board I'm more incline to put him on a flush draw, or a TP kind of a hand. If he hit a set, again, is raise is so small and so bad, you need to pay him for that.
I think I push here.

You nailed it. I guess I'm giving the c/r and call too much credit. Looking back a push would of made me some money.
