Playing NL .25/.50 Hold 'em at Ultimatebet.com
I raised everyone folded except for one guy that reraised. I raised back. . .he went all in and I followed.
Needless to say I was happy to see that he had A-K. I thought that the only thing that could beat me was if the guy caught 2 kings on the board.
The guy beat me by catching four clubs to make an ace high flush.
GRRRRRR!!!!!

Hey, coulda been worse... How many times have you gone in with AA to see someone else with 6's or something call and hit trips. On the river. Always on the river.
I know that feeling, though. Atleast it was only a $0.25/$0.50 table, though, and not a $200+$15 tourney!

Ahh, how's this for a beat. I have AA in the pocket, and I raise about 50 (I started with 1000 play money, I know it's PLAY money, but it still ticks me off when I get beat). Two guys call me out of about 5. The flop shows really weak cards that are spaced out and everything. I think i'm home free! I didn't think about any straights or anything. I bet out 100 only one guy calls. A diamond comes off. I bet 100 he calls after a pause. And on river a diamond comes off, this makes 3 diamonds with really weak cards spaced out on the board. I guess I got excited and I bet another 100, perhaps I always play like crap but I thought I was good for some reason. He calls I turn over two aces, he turns over 4 2 of diamonds and he wins with a low flush! I mean, I really hate flushes some times.

vendetta, flushes are the devils work. I have a problem because I forget to watch for them. Hey, true story, I have folded them at the river running from three of a kind. Not that often, but once was often enough.
Maybe we could start a grassroots campaign to outlaw them.
