It was 10person $5 house tourny with 10cent 20cent blinds. I'm dealt Cowboys right off the bat on the button. There's about 5limpers in before it gets to me. Me trying to just make a early chip lead going and steal it, i raise it to $2.50 total. Half of everyone's stack. Small blind folds and it gets to the big blind. He re-raises all in. Everyone folds until it gets to me.
This is a game of all friends, and I'm pretty used to how he plays. I think he's just trying to steal it from me and i put him on QQ or JJ so i call. We flip over cards and it turns out he has a JJ and when he sees my hand he just leaves the table. Flop comes and it comes K J J. The whole table stands up and is amazed. After I see it I'm just mad and scream out. Turn is a rag river is a rag.
After that tourny was finished, 4 of us decide to put another $5 dollar tourny. It ends up me heads up against a $13 dollar stack againt my $7. Play keeps going back and forth and we're still close to where we started. I get dealt pocket 7's on the small blind. He calls my small blind and i raise. He say's re-raise another $4 and after thinking about it, i go all in. He calls. Turns out he has a A 6 spades. Flop comes 6-8-6 and then rags after that.
Can't say I'm especially down, cuz it was just a fun house game with friends and my weekly net i'm up, but it's just HOW i was beat in those two hands

I know how that feels, me and some buddies did a $5 tourney just for fun last week and its down to about 6 people and I have an average stack, chipleader has about 3 times as much as everyone else, everyone else is pretty even, in my small blind im dealt AA, chipleader raises preflop to about half my stack, I push it all in, BB also goes all in. BB has pocket 9's, chipleader has pocket 4's. Flop is K 10 6, 8, 4!! My aces are cracked by 4's. I know he was invested in the pot already but I was a little ticked after that hand.
