(note, i'm from sweden) so i was looking at this new show on channel 5 called Las Vegas, and it was pretty good, this episode was about some guy who cheated at blackjack, all very "Casino"-(the movie)inspired. anyway, after the show there's a comersial(sp?) and they say "we'll return to vegas in an hour when we show you the world poker tour where some of the best blablabla...". i couldn't belive it! ok fine, they've show "Lucky" and now they started showing "Las Vegas" but no real shows about poker. finally sweden is becoming a pokernation . hopefully they'll show the WSOP too and hopefully the casino industry will grow (only one casino in stockholm, where i live) and if i'm really lucky they'll lower the age limit if the game grows thanks to this. so i say, thank you channel 5!
now to make this thread somewhat valid; uh... how about you discuss how poker is growing as a game in the world, how thrilled you were when you found out they've started airing WPT or maybe how... i don't know, i'm just excited. :D
OH! you can discuss "Las Vegas" or "Lucky" if you've seen it.
