If u play online a lot like carson. You get a lot better at choosing your games. That is the key in playing online and winning. Game selection and seat selection is two of the most important factors. Don't sit in a game that u cannot beat. If u playing in a NL or PL game. Play at the limit that you are comfortable at and buy in for the full amount. Because stack sizes are key in those kind of games. Why buy short and limit the amount that you can win when u got a player trapped with a nut hand. Also pot odds are a key factor in limit games. Even if there is a slight chance that you could win the pot you must call if the pot odds are worth it. Play the player and not the cards. Always watch the game that you want to play before sitting. Find out who is the aggressive players, weak players and find a seat where you can win. A thing with NL and PL is that sometimes you don't need the cards to win. But it helps.

I`ll second that........Thank the Lord I was only playing with play money, but I lost $30,000 in one sitting after gettin drunk as a skunk. Being drunk just make losing a bit easier to handle.
I`ve learn`t my lesson now though.

...is not to play with your pocket rocket.
You certainly don't want it going off in your hand while sat at the table.
Now that would be embarassing!!!

Hey Sal,
Seen your ID floating about at pokah.com, and was impressed to see your story about a placing in a Big Bet Poker freerooll.
God luck with Las Vegas, here's hoping we meet at the final table of a pokerroom freeroll sometime soon.......
