Hey, I've checked the website today and I saw movie clips and a trailer. Was it always there or was it posted recently?? It says Sept. 26th... is it 2003 or 2004... so many questions...

so it came out in 2003
suprised not to hear more about this movie tho cos the review seems pretty good ! and the guy playing stuey, Michael Imperioli, is christopher from The Sopranos.
actually reading on further it seems like this movie premiered in Nashville Film Festival on MAY 1st last year and did the festival circuit, scooping a host of awards.
don't have time to research more but there is a yaho! group http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/StueyMovie/ and the writer/director/producer seems fairly involved in it!
i'll look into that later.

ok i found some more info on this movie.....
apparently they have not got a distribution deal done for it yet and thats why it playing at film festivals only (trying to get some movie corp exec to fund the distro etc)
the movie will be shown at cannes film festival this year apparently under the name High Roller: The Stu Unger Story
i joined the yahoo group and here is a recent post by Mr Vidmer (writer/producer/director) himself .............

I bet that's set many a mind at rest. Actually 'Dead Man on Campus' starring Zak (Marc-Paul Gosselaar) is a very funny movie which you ALL need to see
