Hi there,
First time user. Am looking for some definitive information regarding pre-flop Texas Hold' Em hands. I play in Costa Rica (San Jose) and I hear so much crap about starting hands that I wanted to see if there was somewhere that I could find the ODDS OF WINNING Head Up starting hands.
For example, what are the odds of 8 7 suited against A 10 unsuited? By what % is the 8 7 hands favored ... or vice versa.
I would like to see this for every two card starting hand against every other two card starting hand (if possible).
I have looked everywhere that I know of on the web and would think that this info was not obtainable if I did not see it displayed on television during the World Series and and World Poker Tour.
Your help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

go to online book store like Barnes & Nobles www.bn.com or Amazon.com
Hold 'em Poker for Advanced Players: 21st Century Edition
David Sklansky, Mason Malmuth
is a good book, it will give you tips on what starting cards you should play depending on your starting position at the table.
I have read about 5 books on poker, this is one of the best.
