Hello all,
I'm planning a trip to Foxwoods this weekend and would like to discuss situation that took place last time I went there.
I was seating at a table with a LAG player who, when called all the way to the showdown, would say something like "Your hand is good" or "Aces/Kings/Queens are good" when it was his turn to act and then watch his opponent(s) reveal their hand, mucking his when it lost (which was most of the time).
Now, I was not involved in a hand with him that went to a showdown like that, but I would like to get your opinion if it is still appropriate to point out that he should be showing his cards on a showdown when it is his turn to act? It was obvious from his style of play that he was no rookie and was doing his best to conceal the hands he played on purpose. Also, can he argue in a situation like that, that he folded his hand and opponent chose to reveal his, even though he never released his cards until seeing what opponent has?
TIA
Shin
