I am playing live 8/16 and my local donk fest and the player on my left is an idiot who likes to see lots of flops and plays rather poorly when he hits.
He has me after him hard, but I am trying not to tilt off my chips. One tough one was 10 10, MP w/ no limpers and I raise, he calls, all others fold (I was playing rather tight and getting respect from everyone else). Flop KJ10 and we cap the flop. Turn 8, I check he bets, I call. River 6 I check, he bets, I call. Q9 offsuit, yeah, always cold call a raise in a small pot w/ Q9.
Anywho, I get A  A  some time later w/ 2 limpers and raise. He calls, the NEXT 2 call as well as both blinds and the limpers, 7 way action, raised pot, $112 preflop.
Flop comes A  Q 9 , nice, I have the nuts but worried about the spade draw. I bet, all call, $176 pot.
Turn 6  , perfect, I bet, he raises.....NICE! early limper calls, I reraise, he pops again, we cap 3 way-I am 90% sure old man limper has 2 spades $416 pot.
River K looks good, then the old man bets out. I know he has J10 and make they crying call, the dope folds. $448 down the tubes on a tough river. If the board paired or blanked, who knows how much I would have gotten off the idiot. He claims that he had QQ, Q on the river turn or river would have been the jackpot.
Luckily, the old man is a regular player and a bad calling station. He was reloading 2 hours later.
