Question about Hi/low games |

I've been reading up on stud hi/lo and while I get the basics of the game I'm not sure on one important area.
Can you use different cards to make a high hand and low hand to scoop the pot or do you have to use the same 5 cards?
Is the ruling the same in Omaha hi/low?

No, you can use any 5 cards to make a high, and any 5 cards to make a low.
If you have A-2-5-8-A-7-5, you can use AA558 for high and 8752A for low.
Same rules apply for Omaha Hi/Lo as Stud Hi/Lo.

Cheers.
I was sure that must be how it worked but from the very minimal amount of stud and omaha I've seen on telly it wasn't clear and the sites I've been to weren't very helpful either.
I'm going to print out your stud 8 guide when I get a chance
