My rakeback affiliate has a rake race, which pays nice bonuses.
1st get $2500
10th get $750.
Am currently in the top 10.
Whats the best way to generate lots of rake?
6max or FR?
Am currently 12 tabling $200NL, have just gotten my table limit extended to 16 so will probably start 16 tables from tomorrow.
Am playing Fullring for two reasons, I don't have hud for a while since am playing on a mac, and figured FR games get to see more flops = more rake.
Since on FT rakeback is hand dealt, I can play pretty tight at $400NL if that means more rake (maybe even short stack those levels) break even and still show profit for the month.
Anyone have any insights on this?
Danny
Am guessing I need to figure what pot size is the rake capped on, and find the levels where most hands reach that size.

You know the advances of iron man medals $ value but you don't know this? I thought this info would be right up your street.
Rake is capped at $3 on every full table and every full 6 max table. I think when it gets to 5 or 4 the rake goes down and HU rake is capped at $.50. Pretty sure that the rake is 5% of the total pot up to the cap.
Pretty sure 6max is the best way to go for more rake. FT is generated rake and not contributed so for example ....
If a full table was getting capped at $3 then you would get 1/9th of the $3 as contributed rake, where as on a 6 handed table you would be getting 1/6th.
Limit is the best game to generate rake because you see more flops than in NL.

Damn, didn't think about that. Good point.
Problem is I suck at limit.
What level of limit is the equivalent of $200NL in terms of skill/BR?
Am really thinking about SS $400NL for those rake session (as well as playing some normal 4tables $400NL)
Have to admit its pretty different playing without PT stats.
