Am thinking of starting a leak finder series.
Basically, am offering to watch video's of people playing and offer my advice regarding their play.
If you want to participate here are the rules :
1. The video should be 2 tables max (if you can't handle 2, 1 is fine) and 30 min long
2. during the video you should comment about every hand, including hands you don't play. Try to put people on hands, comment on bet sizes and timing etc...
That's it.
A tip : start recording at the beginning of the session. then after look at the video and choose a spot where things started to get interesting and cut the beginning. Do not edit after that point as table dynamic is a big part of poker. Please note interesting hands or any reads that you have from before the video start point.
If you don't know how to make a video I'll post something...
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Sounds like a great idea.
Are you planning to report your findings to the forum? (I'm not interested in specific tells from individuals, but more the trends we all show, or not as the case may be.)
I would also be interested in, for example, watching the same player after they have been made aware of their trends. Visa versa, I would be interested in their progress if the other players were made aware of their tells.
The reason i suggest this is; I would be more than happy to tell my fellow home-game mates about my tells and then see how my results differ.
As I said, I'm not interested in individuals, but the results as a whole. How much of an edge does reading a player give you? How often do the players give away major tells? Can a player double bluff a tell with not much practice?
This is a fantastic topic. Your results are endless.
Let me think about how i can work this idea into my homegame. I could be interested.
Nice one
