Season Starts on May 27th you poker freaks!
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. Definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer! He must be very artistic. I actually find Celebrity Poker to be therapeutic after a rough night. You'll see someone who has no clue with a mountain of chips in front of them. Often at least one celeb has some experience and to see them lose to a total fish reminds me that the poker gods like to mix it up a bit.

Saw the Scott Stapp episode yesterday. That was soooooo funny. He gets outdrawn by a flush and almost starts a fight with tourney host - "wait-wait-wait, what happend, expain that to me".
Then later when he had a pair with another on the board, but the other person held a higher pair "I got two pair, it's mine. What!!!!, How do I loose? Oh , K and 10, I see, straight" There wasn't a straight possible Scott.
But the best was the three way pot. The other guy was all in pre-flop, so it was Scott and the lady heads up for the side pot. They went to the river, and Scott lost to the lady. Then when the all-in dude flipped over his cards, Scott still thought there was a way he could win the main pot.
I may have some of these hands mixed up, but you get the point.
I love/hate playing with ppl like him.

Most likely, yes. But how can a good player read a person that doesn't even know what they have (or how to bet it)? I saw it in Monday night's tourney, 3 players at my starting table with absolutely NO clue. We had seen these 3 call fairly big bets with ANYTHING all the way to the showdown. Some of the cards they showed down were laughable considering the action. Whether they had nothing or the nuts, they just called or bet small. Fold was not in their vocabulary. But they kept getting lucky. Good player moves in after the turn and gets a very loose call, miracle card on the river for the newbie. I played very tight just because I didn't want to risk one of their lucky 'mistakes'.

Nicole Sullivan, however, is much hotter now than she was before teh Bravo show. Even if she is gay(I heard that somewhere).
Just sayin'. I found that each of those shows had one celeb with a clue....and the rest were total casual or clueless players.
Those shows are lessons on what NOT to do....and for that they serve the purpose.

No actually I saw in a forum someone talked to Phil Gordon online at the Poker site they play at ( the one site where the professionals play against people for play money)
and he said that this year they actually got people that know how to play. I'll see if it's true tonight :D

I think he's lying because wanda just said she don't know how to play really.
But wanda on this episode is funny as hell, pretty good episode so far and got the Bus to fold his 2 pair in a hand!

the 2nd episode was pretty good ! I like james wood and danny masterson. Too bad he didn't win though. That's funny that James was the first person to be able to shuffle ships (on the 2nd season now) LOL
